hdmi to component

i just purchased a new a/v receiver. i wanted to connect inputs using hdmi and outputs through component but was told that due to digital copyright laws this cannot be done. is there a device that will allow this.

The HDFURY2 and HDFURY3 can output component (as well as VGA), but they're a little expensive ($120 to $180 at Monoprice, and not in stock).

Try eBay; I found an "HDMI 1080P to RCA Component Adapter HD Converter+Cable" for only about $35 shipped.
