Will LED soon have better refresh rate for 3D?

I keep hearing that plasma sets are the best for the 3D technology because of its higher refresh rates (600Hz vs. 240) and I was wondering if it is possible that the LED sets are capable of higher refresh rates. I sort of want an LED 3D set but the ghosting due to the lower refresh rates is a bit distracting.

I would read up on the latest reviews within your budget and if possible audition the sets at your nearest home cinema shop. Its the only way to be certain of getting what you want. As the technologies of LCD improve no doubt the gap between LCD and Plasma will narrow.
