What do phone tariffs mean?
When a mobile phone is advertised as having a pay-for tariff that gives you 300 minutes, and another one is advertised as giving you 600 minutes, what does this mean, as it does not seem to be very much when you calculate it to weekly usage. 1 hour of talking time on the phone is 60 minutes and I would have thought that a lot of people will talk into them for many hours each day. It also does not seem to calculate when you consider the cost of the tariff at around £35. Also can all smart phones and internet ones in the 3g and 4g range have pay-as-you-go tariffs?
