Rooting is such a pain in the Ass!

But its also kinda fun. I just upgraded to SG3...which I will NOT root just yet because I dont want to void the warranty and I like the way it is.

But I have an HTC Sensation laying around doing nothing. Was gonna sell it but now I realize I can use it as a developers tool.

Today, after a bunch of *beep* I successfully unlocked the bootloader via htc website steps.

I have to do this first before rooting because it is running official ICS 4.0.
I tried the revolutionary.io website but "Sense" my firmware is too new it wont work.

Ugh!

Anyone else having an adventure rooting their Android device?

@JasnoSkrilla6 I rooted my HTC back in the day, but now regret it. Too fiddly, and for little reward. I just didn't think it was worth it.

If I get the Nexus 4, I'll wait for Google to update the ROM.
