It's fair to say that Apple has to work to catch Samsung.....

They need a thunderbolt new product to quell Samsung's momentum.

@cplusorange I think it comes down to iOS 7 - I don't know how Apple (or anyone) can continue to call iOS "the world's most advanced mobile operating system" with a straight face.

They need to stop dumbing down their built-in apps, and get rid of that godawful green felt in Game Center. And that's just to catch up. Apple also needs to start innovating again and give users a reason not to switch.

They've had no problem being "innovative" and succesful while offering inferior products late to the party for the last decade (and then some).

They'll be fine.

I'm agree with you :) Actually, the number of end-users having Samsung smartphone and tablets is on the rise nowadays ... let me dare to say that soon people will say goodbye to Apple gadgets due to its limitations that bother us to only stick with their apps store. Please correct me if I'm wrong...!!! :)

There's only so many people who are willing to pay Apple prices and who don't mind being locked into doing everything the Apple way. Maybe Apple should spin off a line of phones and tablets that are built with Apple hardware quality and attention to detail, but run Android, and have more flexible connection and storage options.

Samsung is doing great things right but the advantage of Apple is that you do everything with iTunes, we are already used to that thanks to the iPod.
Your iPod is your iPhone now and many other things.

I've been thinking of buying the galaxy tab of 8 inches the similar to the iPad and like more their galaxy S3 screen but I already have all my things with apple and they have the cloud which is great.

Samsung is giving apple a big fight but still they win for me

High profits mean there's plenty of room for competitors to undercut them.

It will be interesting to see what happens now that Microsoft owns Nokia. Not that I'm expecting great things, but occasionally miracles do happen.
