favorite hi tech gadget this year?

mine is going to be the bose quiet comfort 20i in-ear fit headphones which i'll be buying the day they go on sale... august 1st. i already have the over-the-ear qc15 but obviously it has limitations...for one thing, you can't wear them with a helmet. the qc 20i in-store demo has convinced me that this will be a bicyclist's dream....you can easily switch to "aware" mode while pedaling out in traffic and back to noise-cancelling when appropriate. volume control is easy to manage as well.

plus the sound quality is every bit as awesome as that of the qc15!

edit: they're great... one thing i just noticed is that volume control doesn't work with non-Apple compatible products but it's no big deal...mainly i'll be using with my ipod and iphone5.

the other thing... i use polartec ear muffs that fit snugly under my helmet to remove the sound of the wind while cycling.

the result is amazing.... my bike rides have been nothing short of exhilarating!)
