Buy it. You won't regret it.

6 years? Best Buy price matches. Amazon has it cheap right now.

@imdbestone Six years? If money is tight, then IMO you should get the Nexus 4, which is Google's flagship phone and represents fantastic value.

But if you're set on the HTC One, get the Google Edition, which comes out later this month - then you'll get stock Android and all updates will arrive straight away.

You should wait another 6 years and get the Tralfamadore Framistan 3 smartphone which will take 3D high-def movies with Smell-O-Vision and will support tele-dildonic accessories.

According to one salesperson I talked to, the HTC One does not have a user replaceable battery (unlike many of the other Android phones), so I immediately passed on that one (and is the reason I also won't consider an iPhone). Evaluate your decision accordingly.---On IMDb, nobody knows you're a (I said nobody knows!).

@carlojcolon-276-401958,

That is your own personal opinion. iOS7 is a direct copy of Android. If you don't believe it then here is a link that gives detailed images as well as information on it:

Why should someone be suckered into an ecosystem that is a direct copy of a better ecosystem with way more freedom?

As for the OP. If money is tight you should wait for the new NEXUS 5. Google is no longer selling the Nexus 4 due to it selling out and they are prepping for the release of their Nexus 5. If size is an issue I would suggest a Galaxy S4. It has a removable battery and it has great features that may come in handy depending on your life style. HTC One is no longer being supported by HTC because they're currently focusing on the HTC One-Mini and the HTC One-Max.
