My LG phone keeps flashing on and off. What should I do?

I went on google to see if I could find the solution to the problem. I found a post where someone had mentioned having a a very similar problem to mines.

Phone powers to lg logo and flashes on and off for about 3minutes. Then screen turns white with tmobile logo while the led stays lit in blue. Then the screen dims and goes right back to the beginning and does everything over. Now that i left it alone the phone doesn't dim anymore just stays on white screen with tmobile logo. I already took the battery out multiple times. Can not do anything with this phone. It just happened out of nowhere while I was reading song lyrics and it shut off to the lg log

It was the same thing that had happened to me. I was on Instagram yesterday morning when suddenly my phone started to restart itself out of nowhere. It kept on flashing the Metro PCS logo on and off, then repeats itself over and over. I've also taken the battery out multiple times and put it back in, yet it did not fixed the problem completely.

I can assure you that this has never happen to me before. I had owned another LG phone before this, and it had never crashed on me like that. It actually hold up pretty well, despite its flaws. This was before Metro-PCS would merged with T-Mobile.

I'm going to take it to a repair shop over the weekend to see if it can be fixed. If it can't be fixed and salvageable, then I don't think I would want to be bothered with LG phones again. I might just go with Samsung for now on. I never really wanted this LG phone to begin with. The Samsung Galaxy Lite phone was what I had really wanted initially because it has greater storage, but they were completely sold out in Metro PCS stores so I had to settle with this LG phone. Bummer.

Was it re-furbished when you bought it?

I had a samsung Tab3 refuribshed tablet. I bought it not knowing it was refurbished until it arrvied in the mail

due to being refurbished, that thing ran slow on the graphics. Like i'd play the android version of the Sega genesis sonic games and because it being refurbished and making the graphics run slow, I'd always die

So I gave it to a friend and bought an amazon kindle.

Basically what you're saying the phone did is exactly what he said the tablet did to him

No, it was a completely brand new phone that came in a box. I bought it just a year ago, and it had now died on me. Can't you believe that? How do you like that?

But it's all good. I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime phone last week. I'm just glad that all my photos from the old phone were automatically backed up, otherwise I wouldn't know what to do with myself.

something tells me the LG was refurbished and you just didn't know

or there was a factory mix up and you had a refurbished by mistake

because what you described - the exact same thing happened to the Samusng Tab3 Galaxy tablet i gave my friend. it was refuribished

I showed my sister this post. I had a t-moible exclusive model phone - Samsung Galaxy s4 relay. After Rain caused Water Damage, I got a refurbished replacement, that my sister's boyfriend ended up using it when i changed to the iphone. Then it died on him.

She was like "That is exactly happened to your old phone."

I don't know. I purchased mines from a Metro PCs store and it came brand new in a box. I was on Instagram when the phone had suddenly crashed on me. It restarted itself and never went past the metro PCs sign. It kept on restarting itself over and over like the energizer bunny, lol.

Lol, so did my replacement samsung tablet that did that
