PC sound woes: did phantom power fry it?

I plugged into the front headphone jack of my PC using phantom power (oops!). A jack sensing dialogue box popped up, searched for a connection, found none. Now not only does the front headphone jack not work, the speakers plugged into the back don't work either. I trouble shooted all the connections, drivers, and volume settings. I get no sound anywhere. Did phantom power fry my PC sound capabilities into oblivion? Is there anything else I can try?

Thanks for any help!!!
