Help!!! Disc stuck in DVD player!!!
How do I safely remove a disc from a DVD player that won't open or close?
share1. Unplug it from the AC mains, let it sit for a very long time, and then unscrew the screws holding the cover on. Remove the cover and you should see your disc in the drive.
2. Try to gently force the tray out by hand. If that doesn't work, you can disassemble the player to save the disc. Exactly how depends on the player. If it's a cheap one, you may be able to just tear parts off until you've made room to extract the disc.
3. Buy a new Blu-ray player.
