Numark NS7fx w/Serato ITCH Question re Processor Compatability

I recently purchased this audio mixer as a raw newbie, and after first discovering it only for MP3-formatted downloads and overcoming that issue, then found out another huge problem: my desktop PC, for all its speed, power, memory capacity and other features, is run on an AMD processor which is incompatible with it.

So can anyone give me some advice on what type and/or brand of laptop PC runs on the most compatible processor to work with it, and what type of processor that is?

As I said, I'm new to all this, just now moving up from the analog audio mixers and tapes (yes, I said tapes) of two decades ago, so please be as explicit in your explanations as possible (as if I was a two-year-old) so I can fully understand. I promise I won't take offense.
