'Err0' message; what's causing it?

In the past couple of days, my Cox Communications digital cable box has started displaying an "Err0" message. When I turn on the TV it's attached to, I get no video or audio, just snow. When I unplug my whole entertainment unit then plug it back in, the digital cable box will load and I'll have cable for a few hours, then I'll get the "Err0" again. BTW, I have splitters that go to a couple other TV sets (not digital channels but just basic and expanded basic channels from about 02 to 63), and the cable to those TV sets still works even when the "Err0" message is on the main set. Recommendations? (Before I contact Cox?)

reply

Contact Cox. Although, if you've done anything to modify the cable setup since it was installed, try putting it back the way it was.

Yeah, what Dangus said, it's a problem with the box.
