Sub woofer frequency or volume on sub woofer seems to affect general volume.
If I increase the frequencies on the sub woofer the main volume is louder, then I lower the frequency same

Is it hooked up using an RCA patch cable, or through the speaker connectors?

shareIt shouldn't cause any interference. All I can suggest is to use an SPL meter or app to set the subwoofer level to match the main speakers. Having the sub 10 db too loud just makes the bass sound flabby.
