I'm a little bit off topic here because I believe this show is a Drama and not a Comedy... Anyway, I saw ads for it that indicated it was a period show that took place in the early 60s about about British TV (I think it was TV news)...The ads compared it to Mad Men. It aired (in the U.S. anyway) a year or two ago and I can't remember the name of it. I'd like to check it out...anyone know what it could be?

I liked it a lot.
It's not actually all that similar to Mad Men, other than the era it's set in, but it's still worth a watch. The BBC cancelled it after its second season, sadly, which was annoying. But it has an interesting bunch of characters and an intriguing storyline which draws you in.

Jack Davenport's 2013 series Breathless has been compared a lot to Mad Men. It's set to premiere in the US on PBS starting at the end of August.
