Where to go after IMDB shuts down? Top two movie forums:

Since the corporate tools are giving us the boot here I recommend two movie forums. Great forums but they lack a swift pace. If people here made the jump to these forum, they would be great. Both well respected forum that have been around for more than a decade with GOOD software.

First: I recommend the Steve Hoffman Forum Movie forum. Been around forever. Very knowledgable people. Good brisk pace. MANY members.

Second: I recommend the Criterion Collections forum. What can you say? One of the most respected names in cinema appreciation.

Hope this helps!

DVDTalk is where I started off about 17 years ago. Haven't posted there in about 15 years. It does have a bit of IMDb like freedom. Maybe no Watercooler (not sure about the 'Otterville')... I don't think I'll be using it personally.

none of them have individual forums for specific movies/tv shows, it is just generic forums, this really needs some movie database to add forum functionality to each title in their database

even subtitles websites like opensubtitles or other could add this functionality

The best - Fight Club, American Beauty & Falling Down.
