One Last Sandbox/Watercooler Survey ('Look it up on IMDb' Edition)...
I used to write quite a few of these back in the day, when I had a job that would allow me to steal productivity. So, why not one more for the road? The theme here is that every question-ish thing is going to reference something or someone that you may have to look up on this site to really know what you're talking about. Or not, and you can just make it up. I don't care. You know how to do these things.
1. If you could write a duet with any character on the smash hit 90's NBC teen sitcom "California Dreams" (1992-1997), who would you choose, what would it be about and what would the name of the song be?
2. Tara Strong voices every character you've ever liked in every cartoon and video game ever. Which is your favorite?
3. What's the title of your fan fic about Seth Green and Jack Black's characters in the film Airborne (1993)?
4. Look up your favorite movie, and copy the tt number from the URL:
http://www.imdb.com/title/ttXXXXXXX/reference
Then, paste that number into the link below after the "ur", paste the modified URL into your address bar and look that person up.
http://www.imdb.com/user/urXXXXXXX/
Send that person a PM about your favorite movie. Notes about the PM are appreciated, but not necessary.
5. Go to the message board for a celebrity who died in 2016 and post an RIP for a different celebrity who died in 2016. Links or it didn't happen.
6. Post and then rewrite (or just write, if one doesn't exist) the tagline for one of your least favorite movies so that it's more honest about why it sucks.
7. Everyone is starting new message boards to replace the IMDb's that no one is going to join. What's yours called?
8. Turn around a full 180 degrees. Point straight ahead. Are you going to eat that?
9. Many of us left these boards because life became too busy for this little distractions, but that's just a convenient catch-all excuse we tell ourselves and others in polite conversation. We all know you really left because someone or something on here just got too tedious or annoying to make it worth coming back anymore. Spill it.
