So IMDb has now changed their mind about shutting this down!

Ok. Not really. But I thought I would do one more attention whoring post before our Internet lives are over. You know.. for old time's sake.

Also, I like to imagine the look of despair on Gooey's face when he read the title and thought all his work on an exact replica board was for nothing.

The thing is, stuff like this isn't truly in vain. I learn something. I learn what I can. I can envisage my own personal projects. It opens a world to me. There is some needless work along the way, but it all makes me think about how I may utilize it in case I should ever wish to in a different manner. If IMDb announces it was all for nothing, good for them. I don't get any money back from this and I can do without the stress. My main grounds also prevail. My board remains as somewhat of a quirk of an out of season April Fool's joke. There was undoubtedly a waste of time there, but it's not without gain.

It would be news to my ears if IMDb announced a change of heart. But I think they have just by doing this and only giving 2 weeks notice for it (that they seemed to think was generous) pissed off a great many members and may lose them regardless of their change of heart all the same.
