Is there anyone here who has a SO but does not care for V-Day?

We are both very much in love so why should we feel any different about today than any other when we're together?

V-Day is just a certain day that the card, flower and candy corporations have taken over to commercialize it.

Is there anyone else who has another that feels like this to?

My birthday is the day after. Doing two things is too much work.

I understand.

My birthday is a week before Christmas. Mom being too busy with X-Mess started a tradition of a 1/2 B-Day for me 6 months apart from the one in Decemburr.
That was when I had the party, cake and presents and was when mom had the time for that.
