Saving images from Netflix and Amazon Online

I used to be able to save images from Netflix streaming videos and Amazon.com On Demand videos, but I can't do it anymore. I'd just pause an image, use the Print Screen button, and then post the image on a bitmap file. That doesn't work now. Does anyone else have a real solution?

What browser / OS are you using? I just tried right now (PrtScn and paste into Paint) using Chrome in Windows 7 and it worked fine.

I have Windows 8.1, but I'm probably going to have Windows 10 forced on me like everybody else.

BTW, 8.1 was forced upon me last winter, which also eliminated other alternate browsers.

Shouldn't matter what OS you have or browser for that matter, but for the record, I'm using W7 with Firefox and just did the same as ImReallyANarc to get a successful full screen screenshot.

FYI: It is easy not to install W10 by simply not reserving it in the first place and not downloading it. Search the web to uninstall the MS invite/downloader for W10. Yes, it really is that simple. I bought into the hype of W8/8.1 back in the day and what a joke that was (don't get me started on MS's so-called revival of the Start menu in 8.1) hence falling back on W7 until it is no longer supported and that will certainly be a very, very crappy day indeed.

It's even simpler. Just go here: http://www.imdb.com/board/bd0000100/thread/246172462. The first article linked to in that post includes command line instructions for checking if Windows 10 updates are installed, and for removing them if they are.

Okay, but this isn't helping me to get screencaps from Netflix or Amazon. I just tried two downloads of software that were supposed to help (ScreenHunter and PicPick), and they both gave me black screens.

Those don't work at all.

For me, it did for a while... and then just stopped.

Bumping this thread to keep it alive.

Now Amazon is giving me a whole new problem, but I'll have to start this on another thread.

I have the same issue in Windows 8 and in 10. I now always use the windows snipping tool. I have tried others but it works best for me:

It used to be pre-installed so do a search for it. If not you obviously have to download it.
