uBlock Origin blocking imdb emoji?

It seems that ublock Origin is blocking the imdb emoji. The only categories I can see is "flags" and "imdb". People, nature, dingbats, symbols and transportation is invisible to me. I managed to unblock it using custom filters in uBlock Origin, but that only worked for like a week, and now the emoji are gone again.

I have uBlock Origin and everything seems to still be there for me. Thanks for the input, it's funny because I can only see the flags and IMDB categories that you posted. Ican see the others in ASCII/unicode/whateveritis version if I select the area 

Which filters do you have enabled in uBO? Mine are:

fanboy's swedish
fanboy+easiylist merged ultimate
Adblock Warning Removal List
ublock filters - unbreak
ublock filters - privacy
ublock filters - bvadware risks
ublock filters

i got pretty much the defaults in uBlock Origin in Pale Moon x64 and i don't have any issues.

i also use a HOSTS file, which blocks connections system wide(i.e. anything on the PC making a connection to something blocked in the HOSTS file won't load ;) )... http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm

i even have AD-Muncher installed to which used to cost $$$ for years but it's been free since Oct 2014. this is solid but it's only downside is it does not filter HTTPS connections. but i would imagine between uBlock and the HOSTS file that should block a lot of junk online.

I used Ad Muncher in the past, good app. Altho I stopped using it when I started using Firefox several years ago. I use Slimjet since a few years back.

Anyway , right now I can see the smilies. I don't know how this happened but the whitelisting I did must have been botched by me, because I removed those filters and now I can see the smilies. It's weird because I distinctly remember not being able to see the smilies, then creating a whitelist in uBO.... 😰
