Stories that were adapted into 2 or more musical plays?
I'd also like to know if you have opinion on this. I mean, would you say there's something negative about turning a story into a musical after someone else has?
These are the only ones I can think of at the moment:
-THE 3 MUSKETEERS: 1 movie and 3 plays.
-ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND: 2 movies and 2 plays.
-A CHRISTMAS CAROL: 1 movie and 17 plays.
-DRACULA: 6 plays.
-LES MISÉRABLES: 1 movie and 1 play.
-PRIDE AND PREJUDICE: 3 plays.
-SHERLOCK HOLMES: 2 plays.
-THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ: 3 movies and 5 plays.
Since some of these movies were adapted into plays and viceversa, I only counted the 1st version of each musical. I also didn't count the adaptations of the those stories' sequels.
