You can't customize that.

Let's play a little game.

What we're going to do is name a car and the next person is to come up with a list of modifications he would make to that car. He would then list another car for the next person to "modify". But it shouldn't be a car that can be customized easily. It wouldn't be much of a challenge then. We have to come up with a car that can't be customized easily and be a real challenge to trick out.

That said, I'll get the ball rolling.

Isetta.

Citroen 2CV6.

I think we can remove the front fenders and bumper. Maybe we could also ditch the rear bumper. Aftermarket wheels might be a problem, but I think we can manage to find a set that's compatible. For the paint job, we could pursue similar options to the Volkswagen Beetle since they have similar shapes. (Not exact, but similar.)

Sorry this took so long, but I was having trouble thinking up a worthy challenge. That would be...

Peel P50.

I thought I listed an Isetta as the first challenge.

Anyway, here's what I'd do: First of all, the engine's got to go. I'm thinking about an engine swap with a BMW motorcycle. ANY ONE would be an improvement. After that, we'd probably have to modify the transmission and suspension to compensate for the extra power. We can fabricate parts if we need to.

I'm struggling with the wheels because I don't know of too many aftermarket companies that make rims that small. Maybe we could go with a company that specializes in smaller cars. (Japanese Kei-class for example.)

If we're going to work over the suspension, maybe we could lower it an inch or two. For body mods, I'd suggest perhaps a vent in the fender. The car you linked to doesn't have one, but I'd suggest a two-tone paint job that seems to be popular with other Isettas. Inside, maybe a couple of bucket seats and new steering wheel.

It took me a while to think of something for the next challenge, but here it is:

Grumman LLV.

I'm thinking full low rider on this one.

Gold Dayton wire wheels that are oversized width wise by a full 4 or 5 inches (the wheel openings are too small for any large diameter rims). Shave the mirrors off (they stick out way too far). Chop the roofline by 6 inches and cut the roof off about 1/3 of the rear body to install a plexiglass/fiberglass covered inset with about 10 x 12" woofers and associated stereo equipment facing outwards and to the rear. To keep with the Post Office theme, recoat the paint in a heavily metallic flaked red/white/blue color scheme. Redo the Post Office emblem with an Aztec themed eagle and Old English script.

Of course, the entire engine bay area would be chromed out, and since the front suspension is related to the Chevy S-10 I would go ahead and drop the ride at least 1" or 2" fairly easily.

Front bench seat out of an S-10 would be installed with plenty of crushed velvet velour in blue or red (your choice) and interior of front 2/3 of vehicle would have plush carpet. Side door would be removed completely.

Don't forget rear air bag suspension, and cherry bomb muffler for full effect.

Since we are doing utility for the moment, try this one:

Funny you should suggest the Hijet. I actually came up with a set of modifications for one for a fanfic I'm writing. (That's still a work in progress.)

Anyway, for the paintjob, I'd go with a silver metallic base with a mural on top. A mural of what would depend on the owner's tastes. (I chose spaceships in battle.)

I didn't really consider a body kit, but I did decide to mount a spoiler on the rear. I also chose Volk GTS rims for the wheels.

I didn't really put any thought into the interior. It's a van, but a kei-class one. Perhaps a bed could be fitted in the back along with a flat screen television. Captain's chairs could be placed for the driver and passenger.

I'm not sure what performance upgrades are available for kei-class cars, but that's an obvious area for improvement. Unfortunately, I'm not up on the specifics.

As for the next project, how about a 1949 Crosley Hotshot?
