Will be travelig to Minden, Nevada, USA to visit with aunt and uncle

I live in Beaverton, Oreegon and will be flying from Portland International Airport in Portland, Oregon to Reno-Tahoe Airport in Reno, Nevada from August 23 to August 29 and then will travel by shuttle van to Minden, Nevada to visit with my aunt and uncle; my aunt mostly because my uncle has to work. Anyway, my aunt wants me to do some research and figure out what I want to do while I am there. Anyone who knows the area and can give some suggestions would be really helpful. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

I'm a little late on this, but how did it go? I'm in Vegas but have never been up north.

I'll be travelling in the Southwest next summer, going through Nevada, with no interest in stopping at Las Vegas.

What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.
