What is the worst piece of art you have you ever seen?

Can't remember the exact title but it was similar to " Something in a snowstorm".
I could see the paint layers but pass the artistic process, the movement and everything else, deep down I couldn't (and still can't) believe a museum paid big bucks for white paint on a white canvas.
It's subjective. I don't really think there is a "bad piece of art", it's mostly what I don't like which doesn't mean it's bad just that it's not to my taste.

But that wouldn't be the "worst piece of art", it would simply be the piece I "disliked the most". I don't believe any art is "bad".
shareI had exactly this discussion with our art history professor a few months back. Her view, after over 40 years lecturing about it, is that: "Some art is just better than some other art". I basically agree, and I find a mixed exhibition of undergraduate work to be a fine example of this. Some of it is just tripe. e.g. one of our students has done (serious) illustrations for Game of Thrones that are just terrible.
