is there any reason to log on to the site when the boards are gone?

I'll probably just use it for checking release dates and occasional credits. I'm already starting to remove my reviews.

Some people use it as a logging system of what they saw, via the ratings, and a to watch list.

If it will still be possible to write a review (I imagine that require to be log in).

Will have to see what the new platform will look like and what will be the feature before to really know.

I have almost 9,000 things in my watchlist. I guess I'll still use that.

I use it to keep track of what movies I've seen, based on my lists and ratings.



Where shall you put them? You know better than I do (obviously), but are all your IMDb reviews on Amazon as well?

I already check release dates on Mojo, and have been using Wikipedia to look up actor/director/screenwriter credits for a while. I only look through IMDB credits if I'm trying to identify some minor cast member since they have a complete cast list, but that's a rare thing for me. Without the message boards I will go from coming here a few times a day, to maybe a few times a month.

Personally? No. I can check trivia, scores, etc without having to log in.

I bet the user reviews will be the next feature to be removed. Can't have subversives using it for spreading dangerous thoughtcrime.
