Today the IMDB, tomorrow Boxofficemojo
It looks like boxofficemojo.com is the next for the rationalised customer metrics approach. They closed their message boards a few years ago but now the owners (Amazon/IMDB) are having a survey to 'help us improve this site' (which shows a heavy bias to 'proving' the historical information on older films isn't worth keeping). Which sounds like a 'in the hope that you'll agree with the decision we've already made to slash the site' fig leaf after they got criticised for not polling IMDB members before wielding the axe.
