...who would you like to see star in what I think will be an inevitable biopic...THE RICHARD PRYOR STORY? I'm thinking Chris Tucker. Any other thoughts?

I think that Chris Rock would be better, since he has the same sort of wistful undertone that I saw in Pryor. Tucker seems too happy.

Some unknown Afro-American actor would probably be better than a known actor such as Rock or Tucker. They'd only play themselves pretending to be Pryor. An unknown would actually be Pryor.

I understand what you're saying and I could see them using an unknown for a TV movie, but for a theatrical film, I think they would want a "name" in the role.
