Cervantes In Love and War
Shakespeare--of whose life and personality very little is known--nevertheless rated a movie dedicated to the time when ROMEO AND JULIET premiered. Cervantes--whose life and personality are very well documented--surely also deserves a movie for himself, especially when you consider how his life was full of drama and excitement. In fact, a British series of the 50s about the adventures of Sir Francis Drake had an episode in which Drake meets C in his prison in Algiers, and C mentions that, once he is free, he will write a great book--one guess as to which book he refers to.
