A similar thread started in summer last year, alas the OP deleted the entry-post.
Nevertheless there are still some hilarious things in it, so i would like to warm it up.

My apologies to My_Unoriginal_User_Name" for being slightly superficial today.
Needed a little laugh this evening.

Will give it a start with the biggest enemy of cats: The hoover!
After hoovering my buddies are displeased for several hours, what is a nice excuse for being lazy though.
Wanted to get rid of the evil hoover-master-image.

Obviously Texas-cats are much cooler and born riders!
Guess my hero-cats would stay under the bed...til the hoover comes....eeeeeek.

Yes! Was very impressed by this Texas-tomcat also!

My cats are totally different.
They are afraid of the hoover.
Though basicly all are calm and friendly the hoover is too much for them!

The tabby tomcat -R.I.P.- flipped one time totally out:
A friend of mine was taking care of my buddies when i was away for a short trip.
When i came home nearly called police.
Everywhere the lights on, the hoover was laying in the middle of the bedroom.
It was speaking against a crime scene that my cats were roaming around and the door lock was untouched.
Eventually i found a note on my desk:
"Call me! Instantly!"

My friend - a huge woman - wanted to be kind and after feeding the cats cleaned up. When she started hoovering everybody took shelter under the bed but that doesnt hinder a conscientious homemaker!
Then she came to the bed everybody fled.....except of one!
The tabby tomcat made an incredible jump behind the bed and then started his fight against all evil intruders of his territory!
She fled into the kitchen and slammed the door.
Tabby tomcat (his name was "Spooky"...didnt know till then how well that was fitting ) scratched at least 5 mins at the kitchen door and growled and meowed horrible!
Guess it was at the most 2-3 mins but ok.
After round about an hour she sneaked out the kitchen, wrote the short note and ran out for her life.

Good luck that she told me about the happenings on phone and she didnt see my face.
Otherwise our friendship might have ended at that point cause really laughed till i had tears in my eyes (covered the mouthpiece).
Well, she didnt have much experiences with cats and yes, some fight cats can become dangerous, though not life-threatening.
But such a huge woman is fleeing of a cat??!!

That's hilarious! Any cat I've ever owned has also been scared of any hoover! They can't stand the noise, and hide as far from it as possible. My current cat likes to crawl under my bedcovers -- I even lift them up and make a little crawl space for him before I start hoovering, so that he can go under the covers without scratching up my sheets too much.

When I'm done it takes him an hour to come back out again!
