It is a day of celebration when they are finally free from pain. It is almost a month since my dog went to sleep also. I still cry sometimes but mostly now I am glad he is safe and happy. His last day was filled with as much love as he could handle.

My mother's 14 year old lab, Daisy, went to heaven the day after Christmas. It is bittersweet. She was so long a part of our family that we miss her terribly. But I say, if EVERY dog had the beautiful life that Daisy did, this world would be a better place for us all.

We love you Daisy!
