Dog lovers: What's your favorite breed of dog?

I was never a fan of chihuahuas - their beady eyes, slug-like body, ankle-biting tendencies.

Edit: Posted before I was done!

But I have fostered quite a few and now I love them. They are definitely not a breed for everyone but I love them.

As far as big dog breeds, Great Danes. Although, holy cow - the amount of food you spend on them!
