I'm not certain, but I guess my cat would want a new scratching post, catnip toys, an outdoor lounge to get closer to the finches and a whole holiday turkey just for her.
I think Ruth would be scared to death of Santa.
My toy poodle only likes small latex squeaky toys. He likes for us to throw them in the house, but the main thing is he sings when you squeak them. This is a very big deal for him to sing. Before I made the mistake of getting him something hard to chew on and a cloth toy for Christmas. He was so excited while opening his presents (they have to be in a plastic grocery bag and I place these in boxes that look like they have been wrapped with a top he can get off himself), but when he saw them he left them both on the floor and got on the arm of the couch and cried very quietly. He was truly sad. Thank goodness I had a latex squeaky toy that I was saving for his birthday. Christmas was saved!

She wouldn't have a photo with Santa as she doesn't like being touched by people she doesn't know, and hides under my arm at the vets or has her face pressed into my stomach as she is very shy around strangers.
