What's the worst thing about having a dog? Having a cat?

They say when you buy a puppy or kitten "You just bought your future saddest day of your life" Of course meaning the day they die.

The saddest day is so true. That's why people need to appreciate and love them while they're still around. Sometimes we forget how important they really are.

A lot of things - leaving them behind in the care of others when you go on vacation, knowing the inevitable, not being able to find them. The list is endless

For cats...litter boxes. Everything involved with them gets annoying after a while. The only other downside I've found with my cat is his insistence on constantly being next to me at all times. When I'm laying in bed, sitting on the couch, at my computer, even if I use the bathroom and leave the door open. I love my little guy but his constantly wanting to be next to me gets obnoxious from time to time.

When they get sick and when they die is the toughest :( but also keeping them from eating things they shouldn't, I find this harder with my cats (I have 4 and 1 dog with my partner)
