All of them but especially Deers. I hate it that there's a deer season where people can go out and shoot them.

I love waterbirds -- swans, geese, ducks, etc. I'm close to a super-friendly colony I study, keep tabs on, photograph and feed, who know me when I show up.

I'm glad that your early bad experience with that swan didn't put you off for life! Something like that can be enough to leave someone forever "off" that animal, which would be a pity.

They're amazing birds, aren't they?! I was just at the lake today and was surrounded by a little gang of young swans on the bank, very tame ones, at this local park. They're full of character when you get to know them; I adore the waterbirds.
