What's for dinner, Dec. 3

After spending all afternoon wrestling with outdoor Christmas lights, I was too tired to cook a big meal. I made a sandwich with turkey breakfast sausages and spinach on whole wheat bread.

...garden salad, ham slices and hard boiled eggs w/1000 Island dressing...

reply

That sounds good. Salads are the best especially with ham and hard boiled eggs.

We went out for Mexican. I got chicken chilequiles, which I've never had nor seen on any menus here but I know they've become trendy lately. I really liked it and had enough to take home and enjoy later. He got a beef burrito that took up the entire plate.

I don't think I've had chicken chilequiles before either. They sound good!

and had enough to take home and enjoy later

The best part of having Mexican food is having leftovers to enjoy later. Was he able to eat the entire burrito?

For dinner on Saturday 3 December 2016, I ate two hash browns and a medium chips from McDonald's. Unfortunately, I ate them in the car, so I got feeling a bit sick, but luckily didn't throw up. Sadly, the hash browns weren't hot enough.

You see, Saturday is fast food night for us, and Sunday is "easy dinner night" (usually meaning toasted sandwiches).

Have you played Atari today?

reply

Awww..I'm sorry. There's nothing worse than feeling sick from cold grease.

That's what my family does here except Friday is "Make Your Own Dinner" night and Saturday is something easy.

Sunday dinner is always kind of big though.
