It's our anniversary today! When I was younger I didn't even know if I wanted to get married but here we are, sixteen years later and still together.

We thought about going out on a date but we enjoy just staying in more than fighting the crowds, expensive meals that are sometimes just mediocre, plus I just like cooking for him. So I'm going to make one of his favorites: choripollo. It's a chicken and chorizo dish with a creamy cheese sauce served with rice. I'll make tortillas from scratch, some refried beans (not the premade kind from a can but from pinto beans), a nice side salad, and he wants brownies for dessert.

I am a leaf on the wind. Watch how I soar.

I never intended to get married but changed my mind when I was 36, I don't regret it. In June 2017 it will be 32 years.

I'm just making Schwan's Italian sausage with mashed potatoes and peas. We have this at least twice a month, I usually make the same things over and over again but as long as WKD is happy, that's good enough for me.

Last night (it is now 2:50AM where I live), I ate toasted cheese and vegemite sandwiches, which were very nice.

Most people outside Australia make the mistake of putting a lot of vegemite on....it isn't peanut butter. It is supposed to be spread thinly.

hey...that's my timezone too. I had rice pilau with vegetables and mango pickles. It was tasty.
