I'm going hunting for our Krampus Day dinner

I just "hunted" through my freezer and came up with a meatloaf I forgot I had stashed in there! Dinner tonight? Problem solved! 



No trees killed in the sending of this message, but many electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Meatloaf sounds good, and what kind of ground meat do you have in your meatloaf? Something appropriate for Krampus day?

In honor of Krampus day, I'm fixing a roast with red potatoes and a red cabbage slaw. I'm also following my grandmother's recipe for Chocolate Spice Bars.

Be careful out there. The Krampus may be anywhere. Although, you're such a sweetheart, you have nothing to fear from the Krampus. 

Jofilyn: I don't fear Krampus, in fact while I was running errands this morning I wanted to turn into Krampus and put some adults in a burlap sack.!!!!
Roast sounds good. WKD is having his usual steak, maybe I'll make a Hansel and Gretel pot pie in honor of Krampus day.👶👦👧👨👩🍲

I've never heard of a pot pie called that. Does it have a bread crumb topping? Now I'm intrigued.

My grandson was all excited about Krampus day. He's telling his friends at school to be good so they don't get thrown into a sack and beat with a stick.

Hmmm..you can still be a sweetheart and have a dark side. Take it from me! My family have been known to run away fast when I get mad. It doesn't happen very often but when it does, they wish they had sticks.

You got me good there. 

I thought maybe it was a pot pie made of crumbs and other things from the story. Although...you did give me a great idea for dinner tonight along with the roast. A little pot pie with a crumbled topping and a little boy and girl doll sticking out of the top. My grandson likes weird horror things and he'll be tickled by this one. :)
