That's so cool especially about the pomegranate. I do most of what the site says about getting the seeds out but never thought to cut along the white membrane. That'll be even easier.

Thanks, Nuts. I just bought a beautiful pomegranate - the first in a long time. I'll cut it later today.

Div, don't slice the top off as the instructions indicate. Just cut through the skin around top and peel off the cap. Do the same (cutting just the skin) at the membrane and then delicately crack open the pomegranate. A large section of pith will practically pop out the top and then the remaining pith is easily peeled off.

I watched many fruit vendors in markets do this in Bangkok.

Of course, the juice vendors simply sliced the fruit in half and then vigorously tapped the backside of the pomegranate with a heavy knife. All the seeds would quite easily fall in to a bowl. Fresh pomegranate juice always made my day. ๐Ÿ‘

Hmmm. That would be a better method, in that it would lessen the "puddle" of juice from the top seeds.

Maybe, I'll wait until tomorrow to try it. ๎€น
