What's for Dinner Tonight? Saturday, December 10, 2016


Today I tried something different. I made eggrolls, but instead of the usual chopped veggies as a filling I went with a bacon cheeseburger filling. I browned some ground beef along with chopped onion, crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese. It was very tasty, especially dipped in a combination of ketchup & yellow mustard. 

What did you all have for din-din?



No trees killed in the sending of this message, but many electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Wow, that does sound good. I've never attempted making eggrolls from scratch, its one of those 'goal' foods on my list....alongside Omelets and Phyllo pastry.


I had the last of the Pasta Bolognese & the huge salad and bread that had accompanied it. They gave us so much food!!

made one of the best bologaise sauces ever with some beef stock cubes we got to test for market research. will be buying those when they're out in the market

Interesting, Socks. Kind of "international," and tasty, too. 

I'm going to have some hand-made (not by me) Porcini ravioli, with a (made by me) lemon/garlic/Parmesan cheese sauce. This was going to happen, a few days ago, but there were some snags. So, it'll be tonight.

It sounds good which I wouldn't have thought so..Lol! Very interesting! 

I'm making Southern fried cabbage with bacon and blackeye peas. I'll use the leftover blackeye peas in gumbo tomorrow.
