Instant Pot- need recommendations

Has anyone used an Instant Pot? Do you like it and how is it most useful to you? I've just learned about this and am wondering if it is worth the investment. I would use it to replace my slow cooker and yoghurt maker, and add in the pressure cooker functionality.

This is the first that I've heard of it. I watched a few YouTube videos, and I'm intrigued.

After I gave up the slow cooker, I never re-embraced it ... preferring a Dutch oven, in a slow oven. However, I've never had a pressure cooker, but I've thought about it. That, along with the other functions make it sound appealing. You can saute, steam, do rice and a gazillion meat dishes.

I'm going to ask friends if they've ever had any experience with it. And, pick the brains of some folks who work in local kitchen stores.

I don't have one.

Yet.

My mom and sister do and they love them. This is coming from my sister, who doesn't cook a lot, and my mom, who regularly uses her pressure cooker and various other sources. I haven't gotten mine yet, it's something I have to save up for. They get all their recipes from Pinterest. Mom said it's not high pressure, I think she said 10lbs but I don't use a pressure cooker and can't remember at the moment, but I guess it cuts cooking time by a third or half depending. I can't wait to get mine. It'll take the place of a couple things that are taking up room in my kitchen.

My mom did have a fail on rice, but she's only had it since Christmas.

Instant POT? 

You don't say...

I "highly" recommend it. 

Thanks. I'm definitely considering one. I'm not completely happy with my slow cooker- it tends to run hot, so things cook too quickly and some meats then get mushy.

One concern for me will be size and weight of the Instant Pot. Being able to store and move it easily is important.

From what I've seen, it's the same footprint size as my 5qt crockpot just taller. I have no idea how much it weighs though. I didn't lift it.

It's the only thing on my sister's counter. They both (mom and sis) have a serious love affair with their pots.
