We will invade Iran and implement American democracy there.

The United States is a representative democracy. This means that our government is elected by citizens. Here, citizens vote for their government officials. These officials represent the citizens' ideas and concerns in government. Voting is one way to participate in our democracy.

How does that align with first cutting the military budget in half and now defunding NED, which is the CIA child that spent billions in overthrowing governments throughout the world?
Where would the US find the money to invade Iran and where would the policies come from that want to "bring democracy" to the world?
Terminate the idea of cutting the military in half and go for a new war instead?

Haven't learned a thing from the 1953 overthrowing of the Iran government that terminated the democratically elected government under Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh and replaced him with the shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi who in 1979 had to flee the country when the masses of protesters became greater than his military could handle, which then led to the election of todays Islamic regime?

Not so sure about that.
The CIA created the Taliban for the purpose to fight the Russians in Afghanistan, but when the Russians were out of there the Taliban took over the country, the US fought a looooong war in Afghanistan to get rid of the Taliban again, but totally lost that war to the effect that the Taliban are now in fact ruling the country.
Same thing with the IS which is also a CIA creation.
This wasn't the beginning nor the end of a long list of wars that have cost the Americans trillions while they lost all of them, starting in Vietnam.
Now Israel and it's neighbors, I don't think the Americans have anything to win there against the combined forces of all the Muslim countries around Israel, it's just another money pit where nobody knows what kind of Islamic extremists will come out as winners this time.

I’m for it as long as we don’t put “boots on the ground”! The use of drones (Obama’s choice) should be the weapons if invasion is the goal. We’ve left enough blood in that region in an attempt to overtake them.
