Biden Stock Market Ended November 4

The day before the 2024 election, November 4, SPY closed at 569.81.

November 5, 2020, SPY closed at 350.24, so 4 years SPY is up 63%.

(This isn't total return, doesn't count dividends.)

Trump's had a healthy bump/jump beginning on election day. Time will tell.

The Friday after the 2020 election, November 6, SPY closed at 350.16. (Saturday Pennsylvania was called for Biden)

Monday November 9 Spy closed at 354.56. Biden didn't get much of a bump.

A lot of folks here like to talk about the stock market, but most voters don't care. Increase of 63+% nice run. Someone else here can crunch the numbers for total return, average annual increase, how it compares to other bull markets...

What the hell is SPY? I think most people are like me--I know DJIA and NASDAQ, but not SPY. If you're going to evaluate the Biden stock market, tell us how those exchanges that people know about performed (I think you'll find that they did pretty well).
