Trump is totally unpredictable, Israel shouldn't get too excited about his election victory. For the most part, Trump is anti-war, unless an American dies, then it's game on. Israel's war doesn't benefit us that much, and both sides have legitimate gripes towards each other and good reasons to think that land belongs to them.
We need to be realistic, no one is going to cave in, this war has been going on for 80 years and it will continue for another 80 years.
