Trump received the lowest proportion of jewish votes in 24 years.

I find that very surprising.

Exit polls in NY showed Trump getting 43-45% of the Jewish vote there. That's a 50% increase over his previous run.

About 20% of American Jews live in New York. It's possible the NY vote may be different than other regions. But I'd be very surprised if they differ that much.

I'd like to see more support for those numbers.

Exit polls from which areas?

Overwhelming number of American Jews are liberal and would never vote Republican especially for Trump. This includes New York.

The smaller groups of Haredi and Orthodox Jews are more conservative and they tend to live together in certain NY neighborhoods. Exit polls in a Haredi area is going to have a higher percentage of Trump/Republican supporters.

The lying NY Post likely polled in Haredi neighborhoods to deceive their readers. Nothing new for that rag.

Realistically, New York City is MORE liberal than most of the U.S., therefore the figure could be higher.
