If The USA Went To War With Israel...

... What would the likely outcome be?

Of course this is hypothetical and unlikely to happen but I was just thinking what would happen if this business of Israel now attempting to block the UN's humanitarian basic food supplies into Gaza turned into a final straw for America's appeasement policy.

If they subsequently decided that things had gone far enough and they now had to act to stop any further slaughter / genocidal behaviour, how would this pan out?

Could the US set up beachheads and attempt to secure landing zones to deliver aid? And how would the Israelis respond to this? Would they attempt to stop this by force?

There are historical examples (especially in this region of the world) of allies pretty quickly turning into enemies.
