A Plea to My Fellow Leftists

We're a minority on this site, so we need to stick up for one another.

The right-wingers here, stand up for one another, but I find that a lot of my fellow leftists and progressives aren't always there for me. This lack of loyalty and solidarity is what alienates many people and turns them off left-wing politics, and into the embrace of *fascists* and *conservatives*. Instead of supporting one another, we're always tearing each other, picking holes at our integrity.

Remember: People >>>>>> Politics

That should apply *especially* to my fellow leftists, seeing as we're supposed to be all about compassion and empathy. And remember, people make mistakes. A progressive liberal forgives them, and favours clemency and rehabilitation over punitive measures. Let's please stick to those values.

PS: So-called cancel culture, whether it does or doesn't exist, is, in principle, ANATHEMA to leftism/liberalism. After all, the ultimate cancellation is capital punishment and war, and aren't we supposed to be AGAINST capital punishment and war?!? 🤷‍♂️ NO-ONE and I mean NO-ONE who supports BLM, can logically be in favour of capital punishment and harsher sentences. Anyone who is, is, I'm afraid, a hypocrite and/or confused.

Fuck 'justice'. Justice was never an original part of empathetic leftism/liberalism. *Forgiveness* and *compassion* IS where it's at.
