"Six people were killed in a series of shootings in Tate County, Miss., on Friday, according to the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.

The suspect has been apprehended, according to the Tate County Sheriff’s office.

The shooting occurred in Arkabutla, a small community in Tate County, about 45 miles south of Memphis. Few details were available.

“This is an open and ongoing investigation; no further comment will be made by [Mississippi Bureau of Investigation] at this time,” said Bailey Martin, a spokeswoman with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety."

I just heard about it now. Weird how a country where anyone can have a gun consistently has mass killers who don't seem concerned by that.

It's funny how I keep hearing people say: "look how many crimes guns have stopped." I mean, why is it hardly ever stopping mass shootings? Why do good guys with guns seemingly have guns when there is a smaller crime, but are almost never to be seen during mass shootings?

This isn't a gun advocate issue, it's a gun nut issue. I honestly feel sorry for gun advocates who aren't crazy who feel that they shouldn't be so easily accessible.

The majority of Republicans want sensible gun laws, too. The problem is their politicians who have become more extreme and disconnected from most of their own constituents.
