MovieChat Poll. Has Ukraine lost (or is it losing) the war? Y or N?
The new weapons Ukraine is getting seem to be getting there too late. Not looking good right now.

sharehard to answer right now, they will lose land to Russia more than likely but I think they wont lose the war. we will keep dumping money on them til Russia gives up or goes bankrupt. then we will have to rebuild Ukraine when the war is over.
get ready for all the charity events/concerts, etc...
They are losing but it's not newsworthy anymore.
shareNo. It's another Russian quagmire like Afghanistan. This was always going to be a long drawn-out war.
Meanwhile, Russia wrecked its own economy and their stock market is down 80%. Ukrainians also hate Russians and will never accept their rule. Eventually, Russians will leave and Ukrainians will rebuild remaining defiantly democratic.
Russia will be weakened and isolated which are the goals of the EU, U.S. and other Westernized nations. The longer the war, the worst for Russia.
Ukraine never had a chance, had people not been dumb and encouraged this nonsense the country would have been able to negotiate a better deal. Their leverage was not dragging out a conflict, now the conflict has been dragged out and they lost.
shareNope. Not only have they been doing an excellent job staving off the Russians, but they've also embarrassed them. Everyone thought this was going to be a quick campaign, but here we are months later.
shareI've feel Russia probably won't advance much further than the Donbass, and I do think Ukraine may have a shot at gaining some ground on the Black Sea coast. However, I am skeptical they will ever get Crimea back and increasingly think they may not regain the Donbass either. I would consider the fact that Ukraine is still surviving as a victory, but Russia and it's shills can claim taking 20% of Ukraine's territory as some sort of a very costly "victory", but a victory nonetheless. Those long-range artillery pieces they've recently received and are being trained on MIGHT make a difference, but it seems the disparity of artillery that still exists between Russia and Ukraine is making it very difficult for Ukraine to drive them out any further than Kharkiv (no, I will NOT call it "Kharkov", fuck you very much Putinbots) and maybe Kherson in the future.

80% of troops killed or injured. But with the citizens not knowing how to shoot or fight to help out there country is doomed.
Stalemate in a way. Russia is slowly gaining ground and losing in others but it seems for the most part in favor of Russia since they still hold around 20% of Ukraine hostage all the while suffering badly on morale, troop loses, and the economy back home where its Ruble is strong for the time being but defaulting on its $100m payment. In the long run it'll start looking worse for Russia if the West keeps funneling arms to Ukraine but it also is hurting the West via inflation as well which affect voters.
