Hillary Clinton: 'Double down on the pressure' on Russia

"The only way that we're going to end the bloodshed and the terror that we're seeing unleashed in Ukraine, and protect Europe and democracy, is to do everything we can to impose even greater costs on Putin. There are more banks that can be sanctioned. ... There is an increasing call for doing more on gas and oil," Clinton said on NBC's "Meet the Press."

She added: "So I think that now is the time to double down on the pressure."

Hillary is talking tough.

Hillary is right. Putin and the other former KGB spies never stopped attacking democracy. They gave themselves a different name and used their wealth from "capitalism" to fund it. Invasions, bribery of government and powerful leaders in democracies, cyber attacks, meddling in multiple elections, spying, etc..

Their goal was always to destroy democracy and rebuild the Russian empire. The Cold War never ended. The U.S. and Europe finally woke up. Democracy needs to win.

Kinda weak and useless to do when the West will easily do everything it can to avoid a 'direct' confrontation because you know, nukes. Sanctions can only go so far and we've already see the effects and what other nations are now trying to do to move away from the SWIFT system. Putting your money into a place where they can take it away won't work in the long run for countries putting into reserve currency so they're trying to go with a system that isn't beholden to the powers that be.

If Putin gave a shit about what she said he'd send a 50,000 check to the Clinton foundation and suddenly she'd be calling for Ukraine to surrender. They are bought off so cheap it's sad.

Now is the time to smash the Russian forces in Ukraine. They are guilty of war crimes and there is no question that NATO has the justification to join the war with Ukraine against them in full force. Call Putin's nuclear bluff and do it. If not now when ?
