Trump doesn't care if his election-fraud claims are true — he just doesn't want to be a loser, William Barr says

Former President Donald Trump is not interested in the truth of whether the 2020 presidential election was stolen and just cares about not being considered a loser, former Attorney General William Barr said.

In an interview aired on Sunday night, Barr told NBC News that he didn't believe Trump was "fixated" on proving his election-fraud claims.

"I think his attitude probably is: 'It either was stolen, or if it wasn't stolen, I want people to believe it was stolen,'" Barr told the network.

Trump is still living in a fantasy world.

William Barr told him his claims were BULL SHIT and Trump slammed the desk.

I kind of agree. He's quite narcissistic. He was always going to make claims of fraud from the very beginning regardless of the circumstances because it was like a game of praise to him. I don't think he actually cared that much about being president, he just wanted to show off. As bad as Biden has been and needs to go, I also wouldn't want Trump to run again because of how self-obsessed he is.
